Kendra Allen is the author of When You Learn The Alphabet (University of Iowa Press, Spring 2019) She's the winner of the 2018 Iowa Prize for Literary Nonfiction and her work has been published in Brevity, december, and The Rumpus among others. Born and raised in Dallas, TX, she is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Alabama.

Tia Clark's fiction has appeared in Kenyon Review, American Short Fiction, The Offing, and elsewhere. She has received fellowships from The OMI International Arts Center, The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, The Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, and the Lambda Literary Foundation. A native New Yorker, she now lives Uptown.
